Ministry Spotlight: Pioneers

DonorDirect is excited to celebrate our partnership with Pioneers

Ministry Overview

Pioneers is a global movement seeking to reach all nations with the good news of Christ.

Founded in 1979 by former businessman Ted Fletcher and his wife, Peggy, Pioneers partners with local churches to make disciples and initiate church-planting movements among the unreached. The unreached are cultural and ethnic groups without a self-sustaining witness to the gospel in their own cultures.

From business and education to healthcare, agriculture, the arts, and more, their 3,000 global members use diverse gifts and experience to serve in needy communities. As they do, they see God transform lives across cultures and people groups everywhere.

The international fellowship comprised of evangelicals are drawn from many different churches and backgrounds. Their desire is to work in harmony with national church partners and Christian colleagues on the basis of essential doctrines among all true followers of Christ.

Pioneers values integrity and accountability. For this reason, they link arms with other evangelical mission organizations and submit to godly leadership.
